01 · Admission

A floor is only worth standing on if not everyone is on it.

Dealer to dealer, and not automatically. Each application is checked and then read by a person, which is slower than a sign-up form and is the entire point of it.

Applicant record
Anonymised for this page
Company registration
Checked against the register it says it is in, not against the letterhead.
VAT identification number
Validated, rather than typed into a box and believed.
Trading address
A real one, with a real business standing behind it.
What they actually trade
Read by someone who knows the difference between a dealer and a hobby.
Decision
Made by a person who has looked at the whole application. There is no instant approval, and there is no plan you can buy that skips this step.
What gets someone turned down
No verifiable business behind the name.
A VAT number that does not resolve.
Applying to look at other dealers’ stock rather than to trade.
Anything suggesting the pieces are not theirs to sell.
Reselling access to the floor to somebody else.

People are turned down. That is a normal outcome here rather than an error state, and it is the only reason the rest of this page is worth reading.

02 · Transfer privacy

What crosses with the piece, and what dies at the line.

A dealer-to-dealer transfer moves a watch, not a file. Press send and watch the boundary do its work: 7 fields go across because he needs them to sell the piece, and 4 stop dead because they are none of his business.

Nothing has moved yet.

The 4 fields below the line are not sent and then hidden. They are not in the record his workspace receives, so there is nothing on his side to reveal later, by accident or on purpose.

The agreed price crosses because it becomes his cost basis. The photographs cross as copies on our storage, so nothing on his listing points back at your shop.

And what we see.

That table answers half the question. The other half is what the operator can see.

What another dealer receives is the projection above: the fields that crossed the line, and nothing else. That part is architecture, and it is the same for everyone.

We are not going to tell you the operator cannot see anything. We run the database, so of course the data is reachable from inside it. Any company that tells you otherwise is describing a wish.

What we will put in writing is the part that can be enforced: your buying prices are not used to price, rank or match anything on this floor, they are never shown to another dealer, and access is logged. Ask for that clause before you commit and we will send it before you commit.

03 · Want-to-buys

Say what you are looking for. Once.

A want-to-buy is a standing request, not a message. It stays live and is tested against stock as reviewed dealers add it, which is the part you are currently doing by hand in forty group chats.

Match. One notification, to you.
You hear about this piece because it fits what you wrote, not because it was posted.

Every arrival above is stock from a reviewed member. The floor is small and being built by hand, so a want-to-buy today is a long game rather than an instant one. That is the honest version.

04 · Offers

Made, countered and accepted on the thread.

The negotiation sits on the piece it is about. No screenshots, no voice note at eleven at night, no trying to remember whether he said 9.400 or 9.040.

Accepting opens the transfer. What crosses is in 02, field by field.
An offer is a record
Not a sentence somebody typed. It has an amount, a piece and a state, and it can be found again in six months.
A counter replaces the last one
So there is exactly one live number on the table, and no argument later about which message counted.
Accepting starts the transfer
It does not start an email. The piece moves next, under the rules in 02.
05 · What it costs to trade here

0% commission on every trade, today.

No listing fee, no success fee, no percentage of the piece, no cut of the transfer. The subscription is how we earn, and it is the same subscription that already runs your stock, your invoices and your books.

What sits inside your plan: how much you can list, how much matching you use, and which capabilities are switched on. That varies by plan. What does not vary is the line above: trading here does not take a percentage of the piece.

The word doing the work in that headline is today. We are not going to promise a price stays fixed for ever, because that is not a promise anyone can keep and you would be right not to believe it. If it changes, it will be announced before it happens rather than discovered in a footer.

What we can say plainly: we do not take a cut of your trade, and we have no incentive to sit between you and the other dealer.

06 · Trust

Earned across trades, and vouched for by name.

A trust score here is not a star rating left by strangers. It is built from things that either happened or did not, and each part of it can be opened.

Completed transfers
Counted when the piece and the paperwork both arrive, not when somebody presses a button that says done.
Documents on time
The invoice that never turns up is the most common complaint in this trade. Here it is measured rather than remembered.
Disputes, and how they ended
Kept visible. A dealer with one resolved dispute reads better than a dealer with none and no history at all.
Vouching

One dealer can vouch for another, publicly and under his own name. The vouch stays attached to the person who gave it, which is exactly what makes it cost something to give and worth something to hold.

What is not on this page

No member count, no logos, no quotes from dealers who have not said anything yet. The floor is in beta and is being built by hand, one reviewed dealer at a time. When there is a number worth quoting, it will be a real one.
